There is no debate among scientists about the basic facts of global warming. The most respected scientific bodies have stated unequivocally that global warming is occurring, and people are causing it by burning fossil fuels (like coal, oil and natural gas) and cutting down forests.</description>

Since I've been working with Niijii Films on A Sea Change, an upcoming documentary on ocean acidification, I've been scared silly by what I'm learning about the effects of CO2 dissolving in the ocean. As you say, it's not a question of if, it's a question of how quickly and how badly we'll be screwed (almost a direct quote of Dr. Edward Miles).</description>
