I can confirm the truth of this one.  Carson came and spoke to a church near us when I was living in Michigan, even though the crowd of people listening was only about 40 or so.  He gave two or three addresses and was a blessing to everyone there.  

If you'd like to hear him speak at Campus Challenge, I suggest getting in touch with him long ahead of time and outlining what the goal of the conference is, and you may yet see your dream fulfilled!
