Music Monday
Today’s Music Monday features a new song from the David Crowder*Band as recorded at the recent Passion 07 conference. It is titled, “Oh The Glory of It All“, and it speaks of the glorious sacrifice of Christ, the one and only Son of God who came to this earth to give His life as a ransom for many… that we might live for Him who gave Himself for us:

Lyrics here:
At the start, He was there, He was there
In the end, He’ll be there, He’ll be there
After all, our hands have wrought, He forgives**
Oh the glory of it all, is he came here
For the rescue of us all, that we may live
For the glory of it all, oh He is here
Redemption from the fall, that we may live
For the glory it all, oh the glory of it all
The glory of it all, oh the glory of it allAll is lost, find Him there, find Him there
After night, dawn is there, dawn is there
After all, falls apart, He repairs, He repairsAfter night, comes a light, dawn is here, dawn is here
It’s a new day, it’s a new dayEverything will change
Things will never be the same
We will never be the same
We will never be the same
We will never be the same
We will never be the same

Hi Mike,
Unrelated topic to this post — so I’ll be brief.

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9
Clearly, we understand that Peter is speaking of God’s elect — that is, if we understand that God’s Holy Bible is the ONLY authority for life and faith. And so, this comes as no surprise, as the Roman Catholic magesterium is their own authority — above and beyond Scripture.
What was true 500 years ago is still true today, and thus we don’t stand united on this front about what is considered a “true church”. (Add to this, debate between Al Mohler and Mormons about Mormonism’s identity as Christian or not).
Quite simply, R.C.s seem to have misinterpreted Matthew 16:18 — that is, if they truly adhere to what Scripture says in the first place.
