These are times when God speaks to me at just the right time.  John MacArthur blogs about the secret to contentment, according to Scripture:

  • First, learn to give thanks in all things.
  • Second, learn to rest in God’s providence.
  • Third, learn to be satisfied with little.
  • Fourth, learn to live above life’s circumstances.
  • Fifth, learn to rely on God’s power and provision.
  • Finally, become preoccupied with the well-being of others.
